Simplify Your Offer

If I could count how many times I've been asked: "What should I teach?", "I don't know what I can offer," or "I don't have enough content to teach on a weekly basis," I would run out of fingers! Today, I want to share some important insights on simplifying your offers. This is a crucial step for your success, and is easier and more natural than you might think.

3 WAYS TO SIMPLIFY YOUR OFFER:

1. Simplify Your Business Model

When you're a brand-new coach, the idea of creating something really complicated can feel overwhelming. You want to get it right and provide the best for your clients, right? Many coaches tend to overcomplicate their offers, structures, and marketing efforts. To simplify your business model, consider the following:

  • Avoid Over-complication: Keep your business model straightforward. This makes it easier for both you and your clients.

  •  Focus on Essentials: When it comes to your offer, less truly is more.

  •  Scalability: Create an offer you can deliver to 12, 20, 50, or even 100 clients without burnout.

Example Simplified Offer:

→ Weekly group call

→ Monthly one-on-one sessions

→ Two live events annually

2. Focus Your Content on Outcomes

When you're just starting out, it can feel daunting to think about what to teach every single week. The truth is, your offer doesn't have to be complex. To focus on outcomes, try the following:

  • Clear and Consistent Communication: Make your offer simple enough to explain without visuals.

  •  Outcome-Oriented: Deliver 1-3 primary outcomes throughout the year.

  •  Content Flexibility: Don't wait to have all your content ready before selling.

Example Content Structure:

→ Teach the basics repeatedly for mastery.

→ Use 12 key topics repeated throughout the year.

→ Alternate teaching with Q&A sessions.

3. Simplify Your Marketing

In the early stages, the pressure to be everywhere and do everything can be intense. But you don't need to be on seven different social media sites or have a podcast, book, email list, funnel, Facebook ads, TikTok channel, and more. Start small and focused. To simplify your marketing, try the following:

  • Focused Presence: Choose 1-2 social media platforms to concentrate on. (Ideally, choose the platforms where your audience hangs out)

  •  Long-Game Strategy: Build your presence gradually without overwhelming yourself.

  •  Consistent Message: Deliver the same consistent message to build trust in the marketplace.

Your offer shouldn't be complicated. When it comes to your offer, less is more. The simpler your business model and content, the better. This not only makes it easier for you to deliver consistently, but also ensures your clients can easily understand and follow through. By focusing on a few key elements and outcomes, you create a more impactful and manageable coaching experience.
