Is it Right to Charge for Changing Lives?

Imagine this—you’re finally seeing the financial abundance you’ve prayed for, but then a thought creeps in… “Is it right to charge for changing lives?”

I get it. You became a coach because you’re passionate about helping others and making a real difference. But the moment money enters the conversation, the guilt sets in. Maybe it’s because what you offer feels intangible, or you've been conditioned to believe that charging for transformation isn’t spiritual.

But here’s the truth: charging for your services doesn’t diminish your impact—it amplifies it.

When you charge fair prices, you give your clients a chance to invest in their own growth. And when people invest, they show up at a higher level. They value the work more, and the transformation becomes deeper and more sustainable.

Think about this: God has equipped you with the skills and heart to help others, but that doesn’t mean you’re called to do it for free. Money is just a resource—a tool that God can use through you to bless more people. It’s not the love of money that drives us, but rather the belief that financial abundance allows us to serve at a greater capacity.

When you have the right mindset around money, you:

  • Reach and serve more people with your coaching.

  •  Have more resources to give back and support causes close to your heart.

  •  Can provide for your family and create a legacy of impact.

  •  Can tithe and support your churches and communities.

So, let me ask you: Are you treating your coaching as a volunteer ministry or a business that God is calling you to build?

It’s okay to charge for the transformation you bring. The Bible teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil—not money itself. If you’re feeling resistance, it might be time to confront those old stories around money.

Take a moment today, pause, pray, and ask yourself, "What beliefs about money are holding me back?". Write them down. Then, rewrite those beliefs with God’s truth. You’re not just called to help others—you’re called to thrive while doing it.

God has called you to a life of impact. Go charge what you're worth and expand that impact!
